MOVE with Music – Monday, June 18^th

This concert event features live performances by The Mar Dels, San Diego’s most well-known & loved nostalgia band, Stone Senses, a Carlsbad band with a unique and undeniably original blend of reggae, rock and soul. Both alongside a familiar Project Walk face, Kadey Garnet, a songwriter from the east coast of Australia with sound that is soulful with a touch of R&B and folk. The evening focuses on raising funds for us to achieve our mission of enhancing the equipment within our worldwide headquarters in Carlsbad.

Taste of Recovery – Saturday, August 25^th

12PM-4PM at Courtyard by Marriott Carlsbad (5835 Owens Ave, Carlsbad, CA 92008)

This beer, wine, and food tasting will include vendors from our local San Diego community joining together to raise awareness and funds for Project Walk and our recovery programs helping individuals fighting to overcome a spinal cord injury.

Project Walk to Padres’ Petco Park – Friday, September 7^th

Project Walk has organized a group event at San Diego Padres’ Petco Park as a chance for clients, staff, family, friends & supporters to enjoy an evening out in San Diego. September is National SCI Awareness Month and we are honored to have the opportunity to showcase what our programs can do for SCI clients by having Project Walk client, Mike Thomas, throw out the first pitch of the game!!

This is a unique and inspiring event in which our clients defy the odds by taking steps in front of family and friends after being given little or no hope of ever walking again. The donations raised will go directly into improving elements of Project Walk that will have an impact our client’s overall experience.

Lunch by Trucks – Weekly on Wednesdays

Project Walk has partnered with a variety of popular San Diego Food Trucks that will park in front of our worldwide headquarters and offer a unique lunch option to our clients, staff, and local business community. Each vendor provides a percentage of overall proceeds back to Project Walk.

Wine Tasting – Monthly on Thursdays

5PM-7PM at Homewood Suites by Hilton (2223 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad, CA 92011)

Throughout 2012, the Homewood is going to wine and dine you with a complimentary dinner and variety of all you can drink wine by Canyon Road©.  Furthermore, they have a variety of different wines available for your tasting, along with a selection of beer. ALL complimentary and ALL proceeds from tips are donated to Project Walk.
