Therapist and Trainer Certifications

The Project Walk Certification Program is dedicated to exploring, expanding, improving, and setting the standard for the field of spinal cord injury recovery. Physical therapists and certified exercise professionals participating in the Institute are educated on the latest SCI research and The Dardzinski Method of spinal cord injury recovery, a method developed and practiced only at Project Walk and its Certified Facilities.

Few traditional rehabilitation programs recognize the possibility that someone with a spinal cord injury can recover. Persons with SCI are taught to cope and live with their injuries. Today, recovery is an option for those wishing to obtain it. Yet, those that choose recovery do not have many choices available to them due to the lack of qualified, trained professionals.

Project Walk is the only center in the world where exercise professionals can study The Dardzinski Method under the close supervision of Project Walk Instructors. Project Walk Instructors have been working in the field of exercise-based recovery for many years and have thousands of hands-on training hours. These individuals are innovators of SCI recovery who have worked with and researched hundreds of clients from all over the world to produce consistent, groundbreaking results. Simply put: they are the best in the world at what they do.

PREREQUISITES: Those who would like to participate in The Project Walk Certification Program must have a Bachelor’s Degree in an exercise science program, be a licensed physical therapist OR hold an exercise training certification from one of the following agencies: ACSM, NSCA, NASM, or ACE.
