Celebrating 10 years of serving the SCI community with the most
innovative, successful exercise-based recovery program in the world.
A Note from the Founder:
I would like to thank every one who has taken part in our program over the last ten years. It has been a decade full of learning and celebration mixed with a tremendous struggle to succeed against all odds. People always ask why do we do what we do; the answer is simple…we have to.

Founder of Project Walk
New Website!
We have launched our re-designed website. We have broken it down into different categories to
highlight the major areas of our organization that make us special to the spinal cord injury community. It includes, Our Program, Our Center, Our Clients, Our Providers and the Project Walk Institute.
Our Program
This section is about The Dardzinski Method™ and our training options. It explains the theory behind the program, The Five Phases of Recovery™ and other important topics such as the first year post
injury and children with SCI. Our program is special and is changing how the world treats SCI. You will learn what makes it special and why most people now take part in our Home-Based and Train Your Therapist/Trainer™ programs.
Our Center
The center does increase the success rate of our clients. We have more equipment, we have
equipment no one else has, and we use standard equipment differently. We have all the tools, but more importantly we know how to use them. Our staff is specialized and certified in our method and collectively has years of experience working with not one or two SCI, but hundreds of people who rely on us to coach them.
Another aspect that makes Project Walk special is that our clients come from around the world and from every rehab hospital. This dynamic has created an atmosphere that is unmatched anywhere else in the world. Our Center has set the standard for future centers and is being copied worldwide.
Our Clients
One expert said that we hand pick our clients that is why we succeed. In fact, it is quite the
opposite. Our clients choose us. They come from around the world to work with our highly skilled
Specialists and create an amazing partnership that is founded on successes once thought impossible. Our clients are very determined and inspiring people. This section will be filled with their stories and videos; links to their individual websites; fundraisers and other events, and more.
Our Providers
The Dardzinski Method is a life-long program. It works and is needed throughout the world. Our
Provider centers are bringing the method home to make accessible to their local communities. They are building an environment and atmosphere for recovery and healing. View spotlights
of Provider clients succeeding; find out about upcoming events at the centers; links to their websites, videos,
newspaper articles and more.
The Institute
Now with published research articles in scientific journals, a major push for us is to teach others how to reproduce our results. This section of our website will cover our current research projects, courses and certification programs for healthcare professionals, etc. If you need information on any aspect of our teaching programs or research, this is where to find it.
Trainer Message Board
This message board is for professionals going through the certification program either as an individual or as part of a Provider center. It will be interactive and trainers from all over the world will share ideas, help each other improve their skills and client training. For questions, please contact Eric Harness,
Director of Research, at eharness@projectwalk.org
Other Items:
Referral Program
If you are a current client of Project Walk, you can earn training credits for referring new clients. For details, visit our website under Our Clients.
Message Board
In order to share information with a greater number of people, please use our message board to
post/answer questions about Project Walk, our programs, recovery, etc.
Helping Others
Too many new injuries do not know about Project Walk or our Provider centers. They don’t know they have options and other choices. It is these individuals that our program and our Providers can help. Let’s work together to help others. If you would like to become a Client Ambassador, please let us know we will put your information on the website (name, injury, state or country). People then can
contact you on the Project Walk Message Board. We will not give out your personal information.
For questions regarding the referral program or if you would like to volunteer as a Client Ambassador, please contact Tiffany at tiffanyd@projectwalk.org
