What gets rid of what kind of pain, and where? Any tricks?

or will there be silence  lips sealed
 
 
I am in pain...SCI, It's along the upper part of my spine, and lower region of my head, and I'm thinking of a percoset (oxycodone).  But I'm wondering, what else do people take?

My son uses Cannabis, all the others are very additive. My husband doesn't like it (smells) but he seems
to have the pain under control..... And hasn't lost any of his drive to keep working towards walking..... Cheesy
