Acupuncture & Massage
Project Walk® offers both acupuncture and massage within the Carlsbad Center. These services are managed independently of Project Walk and scheduling of appointments should be done through the individual you would like to work with.
Acupuncture Acupuncture awakens the nervous system, stimulating impulses along both sensory and motor pathways, and helps to enhance the beneficial effects of the Project Walk exercise program. Acupuncture is a type of medical treatment within Oriental Medicine using very fine needles much smaller than those used for injections. These acupuncture needles are so fine most people only feel a slight pinch. The health benefits of acupuncture are many. They include reduction in most types of pain and improved function in most areas. Even very serious disorders can be successfully treated with acupuncture or other modalities within Oriental Medicine to improve one's health or restore normal function.
