With backgrounds in exercise physiology, kinesiology and sports performance training, our staff comes from around the world to work at Project Walk®. They are attracted to the professional challenge of learning a unique and innovative method. Training someone with a dysfunctional nervous system caused by a spinal cord injury is incredibly rewarding. Watching a client complete a movement they were previously unable to do produces feelings that are hard to top!  After years of observing and learning how some can recover, we developed a certification program to ensure the highest level of training to our clients.

This will ensure our increased knowledge and understanding of this injury and keep Project Walk® current with the latest surgical and medical research being conducted in the field of spinal cord injury. Our goal is to never stop learning and to continually try to improve our program so we can continue to provide the best recovery training in the world.

The nonprofit headquarters of Project Walk houses the national business affairs, fundraising/development, and marketing/awareness offices. San Diego is our flagship center.  The program and The Dardzinski Method™ started here.   It is home to the Institute of SCI Recovery. The institute is  comprised of our research department and our training and certification division. Our research efforts focus on the main goalof advancement of exercise-based recovery in the medical community while our training and certification division focuses on training new staff members, providing continuing education, and certifying individuals and centers in The Dardzinski Method™ practiced solely at Project Walk or our licensed certified centers. The staff in San Diego has an eight year head start in the field of recovery and is the very best in the world.  This is the staff that will grow our future regional centers and become instructors who will train centers in our method around the world.
