Administrative Assistant
Alicia came to Project Walk with five years customer service experience in the Travel Sector as both a contact center representative and supervisor. Her duties included problem solving, coaching and client communication, all skills that she uses daily in her position as Administrative Assistant. She finds it inspirational working with her fellow employees but even more motivating is her contact with the clients.

Joy Donathan
Schedule Coordinator
Joy graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Before joining Project Walk, she worked four years for U.S. Congressman Charlie A. Wilson of Ohio. While working for the Congressman, she was a special event coordinator, caseworker, and an assistant field representative, working on various community development projects in the process. Joy moved to California to join Project Walk as an extension of her personal mission to help others. She is continually inspired and motivated by the clients at Project Walk who are determined to push the boundaries to achieve their personal goals.

Kasandra Lam
Client Services Administrator
Kassie moved back to Carlsbad after graduating from University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Communication and a minor in Exercise and Health Science. While attending UCSB, she was a teaching assistant for two courses within the Exercise and Sports Science department where she truly found her passion for helping others and discovered her interest in Physical Therapy. She is excited to be part of an organization that continues to push the boundaries on what is perceived as impossible, and enjoys building relationships with the diverse and dynamic clients that define the essence of Project Walk.

Jes Nuanez
Schedule Coordinator
Jes graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a BA in English. After working in the advertising and marketing industry for five years, she moved to Texas to work on a non-profit farm. Since having this experience, she enjoys working for and with non-profits, their programs, and the people they serve. She’s loves living in sunny southern California again and has fun meeting new clients from all over the world.

Johanna Leinenweber
Fundraising Coordinator
Johanna graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Once graduated, she began working with Marriott International near her hometown in Rockville, MD. When an opportunity presented itself for a Sales Manager role at two hotels in Carlsbad, CA she happily accepted. It was during this time that she was first introduced to Project Walk. A few short years later, in 2011, she joined the Project Walk team. She is honored to be a part of an organization that brings inspiration to so many lives and excited to help increase knowledge of the program globally.
