Project Walk Spinal Cord Injury Recovery Receives Foundation Grant

Clients with a spinal cord injury will benefit from a recovery program at Project Walk Headquarters located in Carlsbad, CA, funded in part by a grant from Legacy Endowment Community Foundation. According to Tim Yates, CEO of Project Walk, “Thanks to $4,500 from our community foundation, we will be able to allocate these funds toward Client Scholarships and give individuals, who otherwise do not have the financial resources to participate in our intense exercise-based program, an opportunity to focus on their recovery.” LECF was able to fund this program through a grant from the Elisabeth Wilson Endowment, designated to benefit programs for senior citizens and disabled individuals in San Diego’s North County.
